Trust The Helping Zebra for your humanitarian projects in Tanzania
My name is Rebecca, and thanks to The Helping Zebra, I had the opportunity to travel to Tanzania, to the small village of Didia. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with incredible warmth. The children shouted “Karibu!” at me in the street, and I felt at home within a few days. I worked at a local school, helped the teachers organise lessons, and even ran a few creative workshops with the children. Every day was an adventure. What struck me most was the children’s joie de vivre despite their limited resources. This experience changed the way I see the world.

An unforgettable immersion

My name is Yann, and I am an international business engineering student. My project with The Helping Zebra took me to Nkoaranga, a small town near Arusha, where I joined a cooperative of organic coffee producers. My role was to support the team in developing their export strategy to Europe. I was able to put my skills into practice, while learning a great deal about fair trade and the challenges faced by Tanzanian farmers. I also shared some memorable moments with the farming families, sitting around the plantation in the evenings and engaging in long discussions. It was both a human and professional experience.

Supporting a local coffee cooperative

My name is Marie and I have always dreamed of discovering Africa in a different way. The Helping Zebra allowed me to experience this adventure in Tanzania, between Monduli and a Maasai village. I first took part in an educational programme with children: games, English lessons, tutoring… Then I had the chance to spend a few days immersed in a Maasai community. I slept in a boma (traditional dwelling), took part in daily tasks, and above all, I learned to listen. This interlude reconnected me with what is essential. I came back changed, with a deep gratitude for the simplicity and richness of human connections.
